Pump Air
Why its difficult to fill air by air pump in a Bicycle tube than a car/motorbike tube?
The cycle tube has a a rubber valve which expands on pumping air while car/motorbike tube has a spring loaded valve.
My question was about efficiency(comfort in pumping) of the Bicycle tube valve (with a rubber sleeve over a brass tube) and that of Motorbike/Car tube valve( Spring loaded).What I found that pumping air in Bicycle tube is strenuous compared with that of Car/motorbike tube.
Is it because of the spring loaded valve?
If you are doing everything correctly, keep in mind that bicycle tires run on much higher pressure than car tires. Car tires are usually somewhere around 30 psi. A road bike tire requires as much as 120 psi for some sizes. Quite a difference.
