Are you sure you don’t mean to say “compressor?”
I suppose a condenser could blow up if it got too much pressure in it somehow.
A heat pump outdoor unit however has coils that condense in heating mode and evaporate in cooling or defrost mode. Lots of ignorant A/C service technicians will still refer to the outdoor coil as the condenser.
The compressor can fail by shorting across the line or to ground and will sometimes pop or burn a little bit and I have heard technicians describe it as “blown up”
