Air To Water Heat Pump Cost

air to water heat pump cost
why on a Dodge Grand Caravan 2003 with a 3.3L engine would my heat temperature cool down…?

Heat Temperature go down to almost luke warm air, if not cooler, When I stop at red lights, and then when I accelerate, it warms up to hot air again? (it does not overheat & Runs Great. It’s Just the Temperature of the Heat coming out) I just had it in the Dodge Dealer last week to replace coolant lines that were leaking in the Rear Heater, then had the radiator Flushed and filled. I have the 7 year/70,000 mile extended warranty that will cost me $100 deductible to get it checked out. my van only has 42 K miles on it. This problem just started last week after I got it back from Dealership. The force of air from heater is fine, It is only the Temperature of the heat that goes colder when I stop at lights. It heats up nice and hot when I accelerate. Is a Water Pump or something else to blame? Can I please get an answer from a Dodge Mechanic/Technician or a Certified Mechanic that know the problem before I spend another hundred bucks? I Thank You in advance for your help.

that doesn’t sound like a bad thermostat in it,you can change it if you want to but id try and see if there’s air in the system that’s causing that too happen to it,a bad thermostat wont heat back up that fast, another thing that will cause this is a clogged heater core, when at idle the coolant doesn’t push through the system as fast as it does when your driving, low coolant levels can also cause the problem your having, even a weak water pump can cause that to happen by not circulating the coolant good enough to make it heat up notice the heat hand and see if it falls when at idle that will help solve this problem for you, good luck with it.
