High Temperature Heat Pumps
Is ice supposed to form inside the cabinet of a heat pump when the heat is turned on?
everything seems to be working ok and the temperature is 71, which is where the thermostat is set at. The temp outside now is in the high 30’s
That is normal. The heat pump will go into defrost mode periodically to clear the ice.
